The Heart Behind the Lens: My Story

Hi, I’m Sherry!

If you had asked me as a kid what I wanted to be when I grew up, the answer was always "an artist."

Today, whether I’m capturing a family's laugh, designing a brand identity, or building a website, I’m living out the dream that my childhood self imagined.

I’m a firm believer that "it takes a village," and my life has been rooted in ours. I spent over 20 years in Creve Coeur before moving to Peoria Heights in 2015. I took my time through school to make sure I really absorbed my craft, graduating from Illinois Central College in 2019. For me, this business is about the passion and the memories—not just the money.

A Journey of Connection

My background is built on community and creative service. I’ve had the honor of working with local families and organizations to preserve their most important moments:

• Rainbow’s End Preschool: I managed the full photography cycle - from researching competitive costs and designing order packets to collecting payments and delivering final prints to parents.

• Pekin YWCA: I contributed event photography, custom logo design, and social media graphics to help their missions shine.

• Richwoods Christian Church: I managed a festive Christmas photo booth, providing families with instant mini-photo keepsakes.

The Hustle & The Heart

Today, I balance my "Jane of All Trades" lifestyle with a lot of heart. I currently serve as a marketing and design professional for Cookies Peoria Heights. I’m also pursuing my Bachelor’s in Business Management and Organizational Leadership at SNHU to ensure I can lead and support our community even better.

Why Collaborate With Me?

I’m a lifelong learner, a Twitch Affiliate, and a networking enthusiast who believes in the power of community. I love the feeling of knowing I've helped someone preserve a memory that will last a lifetime.

I’m still that same kid who wanted to be an artist - just with a bigger toolkit and a passion for helping my village thrive!
